Easter Holy Week Reflection

Reflecting on these days, after he left Easter 2011, I have come to the conclusion has been the saddest Holy Week I had in my life. One Easter Sunday.

RESULTS OF THE SELECTION PROCESS


Brethren in Christ
hereby inform you that the Congregation and the Parish of San José de Gracia have completed the selection stage Rector Pastor of this congregation. That we call God our Lord was excellent candidates, which we can choose any complicated. And to those who appreciate sincere and brotherly interest, courage, talent and willingness to participate.
Of all the candidates had the opportunity to meet and hear the way they officiate, preach and sing, also held talks with members of the congregation and them, to learn more about his personality, his family and their preparation and their proposals for our congregation. In fact, they and their proposals are and will always be part of us.
Thanks to God and your prayers during the selection process grew spiritually, there was more about who will gather at this temple, also grew thanks to the candidates' proposals. That led us to define and present a profile of our church and build a common course of our parish.
Brothers in the selection process prior to each meeting, we entrust to God our Lord, that He will take us to make the best decision. The procedure was to create and publish a notice in subsequent to this, there were candidates, to whom I invite unto us the favor of celebrating the Holy Eucharist, and later this was living with them and the congregation to learn more. Following this, there were rounds of opinion on those involved, to generate a common impression about the qualities of the participants in the members of the congregation.
The decision of the Vestry was achieved by listening to the feelings of the congregation, taking into account the needs and circumstances of our parish, just as the needs, circumstances and proposals for our pastor who will lead. And finally on April 3rd, 2011, in assembly with members of the congregation and vestry voted unanimously by the Rev. Andrew Solis Morroy House and who will be our Pastor Rector of the Cathedral of San José de Gracia.
On April 10 this year in the presence of the congregation, the election became official.
Now we are in transition and we will announce them later date will be officially installed. Again

In the last evening of Sunday, a disaster happened in our parish. An accident came at the worst possible time in their Septenario Ecuador, on the eve of the Passion Week. Maria de los Dolores was seen in the middle of an intense fire that soon some of these brothers of the Brotherhood in relief, thereby risking their physical well being. If it were not for the heroic and admirable performance, perhaps we would be talking about something much more serious.
At this point, the sacred image is in a restoration shop in terminals.
I know the great pain that one suffers these days within the Brotherhood. From these lines I join this pain, because I have many friends Brethren of the Ancient and Venerable Brothers, and because it is the duty of all to pray that the Mother of God is as soon as possible in his parish with his son.
